(POLL) CMC Rocks 2018 Headliner

CMC rocks 2018.jpg

Recently, we asked the question who should come out for next years CMC Rocks Qld by asking you to nominate a headline artist for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights of the festival. Some interesting nominations with a wide variety of artists covered, but there definitely were a few stand outs with one big surprise. The top three artists who got the most votes overall also got the most for each particular day. So lets look at what you have voted next years festival should look like:

Friday - Michael Ray

Fresh off his first trip down under for this festival, he clearly blew everybody away - INCLUDING US! He was the 3rd most nominated artists and received the most votes to play on the Friday night.

Saturday - Luke Bryan

Oh come on, you knew he would feature in this list. There aren't too many artists that get constantly asked to come tour down under. If he doesn't make the trip soon there will be hell to pay... wait, perhaps we could get hell to pay for him to come out. Who's got a soul to sell? He was also the most nominated artists and obviously, topped the Saturday headliner spot.

Sunday - Carrie Underwood

Possibly a surprise since she only just toured Australia in late 2016. However, hardly a surprise as she would have won a lot of new fans while down in Oz... also, she's pretty awesome as well. Carrie had the 2nd highest nominations and was the top pick for Sunday.

Some interesting nominations all round, particularly the person who suggest James Blundell (Friday), Adam Harvey (Saturday) and Tania Kernighan (Sunday). Seven Aussies were suggested as headline acts which is great to see the passion and love for our local artists. Whoever the headline act for next years festival, will certainly need to be another monster of the genre to make it a hattrick of sell outs.

Do you agree with this? Here are the Top 10 most voted for artists for next years festival, which one would you like to see?
