(WATCH) 'ish' - Amy Nelson's First Single Released in Australia
For the last week or so, you may have heard the updates on KIX or seen the posts on social media from Amy Nelson at the Calgary Stampede. Well, she is a Canadian singer who is also performing at the Broadbeach Country Music Festival from the 28th to 30th July.
Now, she has released her first ever track in Australia called 'ish'. You know, like 'I'll be there at the party at 12-ish'. According to Amy, that's exactly what the song is about, that lack of commitment.
Check it out:
Confident, strong and sarcastic, Canada’s Amy Nelson performs music that sounds just like her personality. Her songwriting reflects her life experiences – the good, the bad and the ones most people don’t talk about. Fueled by her
self-proclaimed “bad luck” in love, and her “do it yourself” attitude, Amy is a force
to be reckoned with. She is often referred to as the hardest working country artist in Saskatchewan (the province she is from), but Amy quickly dismisses the title. Since spending time touring down under, Amy has learned that nobody from Australia can pronounce Saskatchewan, so don’t worry - you are all off the hook.
