Following on from the release of his new single, Reckless Desires, earlier this week, Andrew Swift has dropped the video clip for the lead track from his forthcoming album, Call Out For The Cavalry, slated for release on Friday, 2 March, 2018 and available for pre-order now.
Reckless Desires was filmed by Swift’s friend and independent director, Arlo Cook. Shot at the back of Swift’s “day-job” workplace and Caravan Park Tour sponsor, Page Bros RV, the clip stars Ciume Lochner, Cello (Swift’s Rhodesian Ridgeback), Swift himself, with Tom VanAgtmaal on drums and Zac Watson on bass.
“It captures the story of a guy losing himself to alcohol, the woman that tries to stand beside him through his troubles – and does for as long as she could – before leaving. He’s then left along with his thoughts, reflecting on the good times and how things went wrong,” says Swift.
An anthemic track with shades of Swift’s Springsteen influences shining through, Reckless Desires is now available for airplay and can be downloaded via:
Swift made a big first impression on the country music world when he became a Toyota Star Maker grand finalist. He has supported the likes of Shane Nicholson, Catherine Britt, Amber Lawrence, Adam Eckersley, and Lachlan Bryan, and performs regularly with Gretta Ziller.
