"It’s with a heavy heart I have to share some news with you all.... due to a throat and vocal cord condition that needs immediate attention, I am unable to carry through with the planned Speed of Life Tour. The doctors have laid out a 6-month surgical and rehabilitation plan that if I stick to will ensure a full recovery. I hate to let people down, but this is something I cannot ignore anymore and need to deal with it once and for all. Those who have purchased tickets already can get a full refund from your point of purchase. Putting this into perspective I realise that people have been losing their homes, livelihood, family farms, loved ones, and all I’m losing is a voice!
We are all going through something in our lives but there are plenty worse off than me that need our love and attention.
The Medical team have still allowed me to appear at CMC Rocks, and maybe 1 or 2 other things if I behave and follow the plan, but I’m hopeful to be back in the saddle as soon as possible so I will keep you updated on my progress.
I will be going live on FB tonight to have a little chat about it and answer any questions if you want to join me. ....Pepper may pop her little smiley face and 2 teeth in as well"
