Tamworth Country Music Festival is nearing. With 100 days to go, the popular multi-day event has unveiled its second artist announcement, revealing an expansive list of country and non-country names.
Multi-Golden Guitar winners and ARIA nominated The Wolfe Brothers lead the second announcement, followed by 2022 Toyota Star Maker winner Max Jackson, Tamworth local and Luke Combs’ Australian tour opener Lane Pittman and many more are heading to Tamworth in January 2024.
On Wednesday, 22 January, at TRECC, Beccy Cole headlines the special event Orchestral Country. Cole and a list of Aussie country music legends – Adam Harvey, Fanny Lumsden, Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Amber Lawrence with another two other special guests TBA – will team up with a 30-piece orchestra for an all-too-rare performance.
In terms of non-country music, The Screaming Jets, Kate Ceberano, Daryl Braithwaite, rockers Kingswood, Ian Moss and more are joining next year’s edition of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
The second artist announcement finds the new artist additions joining the already-announced Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley, Adam Harvey, Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley, country icon Lee Kernaghan, multi-award winner Beccy Cole, 2023 Toyota Album of the Year and ARIA award winner Casey Barnes, eight-time Golden Guitar and ARIA award winner Fanny Lumsden, 2023 Female Artist of the Year Amber Lawrence, John Williamson, Graeme Connors, 2023 Male Artist of the Year Andrew Swift, 2023 Golden Guitar winner Ashleigh Dallas, 2023 Toyota Star Maker winner Loren Ryan, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, multi-award winning artist Shane Nicholson and country music icon Melinda Schneider. The 2024 Golden Guitar Awards will be showcased on Saturday, 27 January, with hosts Tania Kernaghan and Jason Owen.
The 2024 Tamworth Country Music Festival spans from 19-28 January 2024.
