NQ’s Rock’n Country’s’ Reboot Competition Launches

Are you, or do you know an exceptionally talented country artist, who has put their career on hold in recent times or looking to take the next step in their career?

QCCS presents NQ’s Rock’n Country are excited to announce that they are offering the chance for three finalists to share the stage with other Australian Artists who
have inspired and motivated them throughout their journey.

NQ’s Rock’n Country’s’ Reboot Competition has been designed to present a unique opportunity to move forward as an Australian Country Music artist on a world class platform. The competition will target exceptionally talented artists, who have had to put their careers on hold for almost two years and are lacking confidence to be involved in the industry.

“This is something Mackay has never seen before, we are giving emerging artists the chance of a lifetime to be in the running to further their career with the chance to be flown to Nashville to record a song on Music Row”, said event organiser Geoff Baguley.

In addition to be in the running for the trip to Nashville, the three finalists will have the chance to perform on the main stage at the festival in August with flights and accommodation paid for.

Highly acclaimed country music artist Adam Harvey who is one of the four judges of the Reboot Competition said “The past few years have been devastating for the music industry, but NQ’s Rock’n Country Reboot competition is an amazing opportunity for emerging artists to get back on their feet and perform in front of a live audience again. I am incredibly proud to be a judge in this competition and can not wait to see what talent we find!”

To enter the competition applicants must be emerging artists that were not working fulltime in the music industry during COVID-19. Applicants must post a video on Instagram of themselves performing, along with an introduction and the reason as to why they are applying.
