Billy Ray Cyrus is a married man again. The 62-year-old Achy Breaky Heart singer has married 34-year-old Aussie artist Firerose, who announced the news on Wednesday (11 October).
The pair celebrated the big day on Tuesday. They shared some beautiful wedding shots on Instagram, writing in the loved-up caption: “10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony. It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined.
“For both of us to hear the preacher say, ‘Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus… I now pronounce you husband and wife’ that was the sacred moment our new forever began. Long Live Love!”

Billy Ray and Firerose got engaged in 2022, although the date of their engagement was unclear just looking at social media. The couple sent the internet into a frenzy on 13 September when Firerose posted to Instagram with the caption, “taking in the moment...” and wearing what looked like an engagement ring.
However, she shared another post with Cyrus in October, showing off a giant diamond ring. No “we're engaged” was written - the post was simply captioned “Happy Autumn.”
The couple revealed that they got engaged in August 2022, telling PEOPLE, “Billy looked at me and said, ‘Do you, do you wanna marry me?’ And I was just like, ‘Of course I do. I love you,’” Firerose said. “He said, ‘I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.’”
Cyrus said, “She’s the real deal” upon discussing their engagement, with the pair discussing the engagement method: Billy Ray popped the question, but there was no bending the knee involved.
Billy Ray and Firerose met years ago on the set of Hannah Montana, the Disney Channel series that catapulted Billy’s daughter, Miley Cyrus, to superstardom.
The snaps of Firerose wearing the ring appeared six months after Billy Ray's marriage with Tish Cyrus, his wife of 28 years, publicly ended. However, they had privately separated years beforehand. Tish Cyrus filed for divorce in April 2022, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus raised five children together, including Miley, Braison, and Noah. Brandi and Trace are from Tish's previous marriage.
