Golden Guitar nominee and rising country powerhouse Abbie Ferris is back with a new anthem tailor-made for dreamers. Her latest single On My Way, released today, is a bold and uplifting track co-written in Nashville with none other than ARIA-winning superstar Morgan Evans and songwriter-producer Jeremy Dylan.

“This song is my story, from growing up riding horses in a town of 600 people to playing my music on stage in Nashville,” Ferris explains. “As we were writing it, Morgan kept encouraging me to put more details in the lyrics about my own life, my family and what really drives me, and I’m so excited to put myself into a song like this that will hopefully inspire other dreamers out there.”

That personal detail shows. With driving drums from Nashville session legend Chris McHugh (Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood) and crisp, radio-ready production by long-time collaborator Michael Carpenter, On My Way isn’t just a reflection of Ferris’ journey, it’s a shout-out to anyone carving their own path, no matter how far it may seem from home.

The single is the second taste of her upcoming EP Stockman’s Daughter, set to drop on September 19. It follows her feisty hit Bad For Business, which turned heads earlier this year for its full-throttle confidence. Together, the tracks mark a turning point for the South Australian singer-songwriter both sonically and personally as she leans into a sound that’s authentic, grounded, and undeniably hers.

In true country fashion, Ferris has been putting in the miles. From CMC Rocks to CMA Fest, she’s shared stages with the likes of Kingswood and Travis Collins, gaining fans across the globe. And she’s not showing any signs of slowing down, her calendar is stacked with festival appearances, including Sunset Bash, Under the Gums, Savannah in the Round, and the Groundwater Country Music Festival.

For Ferris, On My Way isn’t just a song, it’s a mission statement. With one boot in the paddock and the other on the gas, she’s proving you don’t have to leave your roots behind to chase the big stage.
