Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley are beloved staples in the Australian country music scene, but now they’re heading back to the box. The married duo have been announced as part of the Travel Guides cast for 2026 on Channel 9 and we are so excited!
For McClymont, this isn’t her first brush with reality TV fame. She first caught wider attention when she appeared on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2022, where her warm personality and down to earth presence resonated with fans.
As a duo McClymont & Eckersley have also proved their strength as a competitive pair, teaming up for The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition in 2024. Successfully balancing their lives, music, and marriage, it’s never a dull moment with these two. Their inclusion in next season’s Travel Guides will no doubt have the duo exploring cultures, local delicacies, stunning scenery, and highlighting real life - sometimes unexpected - travel moments, all with their signature humour and charm we know and love.
On The Amazing Race Australia McClymont & Eckerlsey were one of eleven teams racing across four countries: Argentina, South Africa, Namibia, and Thailand.
They won four individual legs, proving that they handled tasks, detours, and roadblocks well. Their strengths seem to lie in communication, collaboration, and supporting each other under pressure. As described, “while they have different strengths, they always have each other’s back.” In the end the pair finished in third place and they still left a strong mark.
Music remains their base. The duo has had a massively successful career. Their latest album Up, Down & Sideways has seen them win Golden Guitar awards, chart on country radio across Australia and continue to grow a loyal fanbase.
