Christmas has come early for country music fans in Australia, with Gympie Music Muster adding a bunch of legends to next year’s bill.
Returning to Amamoor Creek State Forest from August 22-25, the festival has locked an additional 25 artists for the 2024 event.
The Queensland festival got off to a great start with Beccy Cole, Brad Cox, James Johnston, and Lee Kernaghan all previously confirmed, and today they’ve also revealed:
Amber Lawrence, Ashleigh Dallas, Brad Butcher, Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley, Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys Christie Lamb, Duncan Toombs, Graeme Connors, Henry Wagons, James Blundell, Kaylee Bell, Kirsty Lee Akers, Lane Pittman, Little Quirks, Luke O’Shea, Lyn Bowtell, The Pigs, Rhinestoned, Robert Forster, Sara Berki, Shannon Noll, Simply Bushed, Tex Rerkins - The Man In Black, The Travelling Country Band feat. “I’m really excited about our first and second announcements for 2024. Country music has always been the core of the Gympie Muster and these artists certainly fit the bill,” Muster program director Oz Bayldon said.
“In the line-up so far, we have artists who collectively have 24 Golden Guitars nominations, including Male and Female Artists of the Year and New Talent of the Year.
“Don’t worry our Blues fans haven’t been forgotten - keep an eye out for our special Boxing Day Blues announcement and we still have plenty more artists to be revealed in the New Year.”
Last year’s ambassadors, Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont, added: “We are so excited to be invited back to the best festival in Australia; the Gympie Muster for 2024, we can’t wait to see you all there for some awesome music and shenanigans.”
This year’s Gympie Music Muster was a roaring success, breaking its attendance record as thousands of punters saw Australian-born, Nashville-based singer Morgan Evans.
