Howlin’ Country is back for another year on the Newcastle Foreshore, and festival planning season has officially begun. With set times, festival maps and a full list of on-site activities now revealed, fans can start locking in their game plan ahead of the all day country celebration on Saturday 14 February.

Headlined by US country superstar Lainey Wilson and Newcastle’s own Morgan Evans, the second edition of Howlin’ Country is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated music events of the year.

The stacked lineup also features Kaitlin Butts, Flatland Cavalry, Adam Newling, Tyla Rodrigues, and newly announced additions including Kashus Culpepper, Paul Dempsey’s Shotgun Karaoke, Sweet Talk, The Wet Whistles, Lewis Love, plus local favourites Grand Pricks and Sharnee Fenwick.

With set times now live, attendees can plan their day from start to finish, whether that means locking in a front row spot for your favourites or bouncing between stages to catch as much live music as possible. The updated festival map also gives fans a clear look at where to find stages, food, bars and all the extra experiences happening across the site.

This year’s festival goes beyond the music, with new activations rolling out across the foreshore. Valentine’s Day brings a playful twist, with rose sales, handmade bracelet stalls and even a speed-dating event taking place on the day. Tasting trucks, VIP areas, a kids zone, and a revamped second stage - The Bale House - round out the experience, turning Howlin’ Country into a true day-to-night event.
