Fresh off hitting #1 on the Countrytown Hot 50 with his hit song Lasso, rising country star Jake Banfield is officially making his way to Australia for the first time.
The Lasso Australian Tour will kick off in Melbourne before heading to Torquay, Sydney and Brisbane, plus Banfield will be making a stop at the iconic Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Joined by special guest Bella Mackenzie, Banfield’s signature blend of heartfelt storytelling and contemporary music make him one of the most exciting new acts in the genre.
“I’m so stoked to finally head down under,” Banfield says. “Australia’s shown so much love for Lasso and all my music, and for a small-town Oklahoma kid to get to travel the world and play songs for people who actually want to hear ‘em… that means everything.”
With millions of streams under his belt and a rapidly growing fanbase, Banfield’s debut tour promises to showcase every side of his catalogue, from the rowdy crowd pleasers to the stripped back acoustic moments, this tour will have it all.
“I’ve heard Aussie fans love country music and know how to have a good time,” he laughs. “So I think we’re gonna get along just fine. If you can make it to a show, come ready to party.”
Joining Banfield across all dates is Mackenzie, one of Australia’s brightest emerging voices in country music. Together, they’re set to deliver a show that bridges Nashville energy with homegrown Aussie charm.
“The time’s finally come… we couldn’t wait any longer,” Banfield adds. “You guys have been showing so much love, we had to make it happen. I can’t wait to see everyone out there.”
