Country music is about to go full throttle down under. Multi-platinum-selling artist and ACM Artist of the Decade, Jason Aldean, has officially announced the international leg of his 2026 Full Throttle World Tour, marking his first Australian shows in nearly a decade.
The US country juggernaut will kick off the international run on February 19th in Auckland, marking his first time headlining New Zealand, before jetting across the Tasman for a string of major shows in Australia. Stops include Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, plus a headline slot at the brand-new country music festival, Sunburnt Country, with performances in Toowoomba, Hunter Valley, and Canberra.
This marks Aldean’s first tour in Australia since 2016, when he made history as being a part of the first festival to ever sell out CMC Rocks QLD a moment that cemented his connection with Aussie fans. Now, nearly ten years later, Aldean is bringing the horsepower back with an arena-ready setlist of hits, from She’s Country to Whiskey Drink, his 30th career No. 1 at Country Radio.
Joining Aldean for the 2026 Australian and New Zealand dates are rising US star Corey Kent, who will open on all dates, and Aussie favourite Brad Cox, plus Dear Tommie and Y.O.G.A., who join the bill for the Sunburnt Country festival stops.
The Full Throttle Tour, produced by Live Nation, has been tearing through the US since May 2025 and will resume on July 17 in Tulsa, OK. The upcoming Australia and NZ shows mark an exciting global expansion for the tour and a homecoming of sorts for fans who’ve waited almost a decade for Aldean’s return.
