The 2026 Tamworth Country Music Festival has expanded with a massive second artist announcement led by the one and only Kasey Chambers, who will take over the Tamworth Town Hall in January.
The second wave of artists announced for the festival is massive, featuring Tania Kernaghan, Jason Owen, and Kristy Cox performing sets. Meanwhile, Taylor Moss, Tori Forsyth, Hayley Jensen, and Tyla Rodrigues will introduce the new show, Her Sound, Her Story.
In addition to the acts mentioned above, The Wiggles return to the Tamworth Country Music Festival for the second year in a row, Billie-Jo Porter, Kirsty-Lee Akers, Rhinestoned, 19-Twenty, Y.O.G.A., Colin Buchanan, Loren Ryan, Matt Scullion, Jem Cassar-Daley, Jake Whittaker, Sara Storer, The Wet Whistles, Toyota Star Maker winners and finalists will perform at the upcoming festival.
Next year’s event is also packed with unique live shows, such as Bluegrass Comes to Tamworth, Stories In Song, The All-American Honky Tonk Reboot, Birds of a Feather, That’s Where The Faith Comes In – A Country Gospel Show, and many more, plus tributes to Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton, Fleetwood Mac, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Australian bands like INXS and Icehouse.

Running over ten days from Friday, 16 January, to Sunday, 26 January, hundreds of artists from Australia and abroad will perform on stages across the city of Tamworth, Australia’s home of country music. Free and ticketed shows, including full venue line-ups, will be detailed in the coming months.
