Kaylee Bell Performs With Jelly Roll

November 3, 2025 9:26 am in by

At Newcastle and Perth’s Strummingbird festival over the weekend, country powerhouse Jelly Roll surprised fans by inviting Kaylee Bell on stage for an epic, high-energy performance. The two teamed up for a crowd-pleasing cover of Keith Urban’s Somebody Like You and Aussie classic The Angels’ Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again, sending festival goers into a singalong frenzy.

The spontaneous collab came after Jelly Roll caught Bell’s set earlier in the day, where she performed her mega viral hit Keith. Turns out, he’d been a fan of the track for ages, he just didn’t realise Bell was the artist behind it.

Fans at the Newcastle event spotted Jelly Roll standing side stage, grinning from ear to ear and cheering her on as she performed her set.

Bell later reflected on the moment in a sweet post on social media:

“If a picture could say a thousand words… I’ll try!!!

This year has been a wild rollercoaster full of emotions — the most joy adjusting to motherhood, juggling a career, bouts of guilt, letting go of what I thought life was meant to be and accepting all that it now is and all the happy surprises that have come with that!

But yesterday an amazing thing happened when we played our song Keith at Strummingbird. @jellyroll615 heard it backstage and ran to the side of the stage to listen. He later said he’s a big fan of the song and didn’t realise I sang it… to have someone I admire so much make such a huge gesture — to be there side stage and be so kind to me — it meant so much… and then for him to invite me to sing the greatest @keithurban song of all time with him on his stage to 30,000 of the best Aussie fans… What a genuine and generous human. You’ll never know how much that meant to me. Thank you, Jelly!”

To say 2025 has been a whirlwind for Bell would be an understatement. Fresh off releasing her brand new album Nights Like This at the end of September, Bell has been everywhere this year. She’s hit stages across the UK, Australia and New Zealand, even just a couple weeks ago she jumped up on stage for a special surprise performance with Jackson Dean in Auckland, she continues to dominate playlists and airwaves with her signature mix of pop country hooks and storytelling.

Beyond the music, Bell’s been navigating her first year of motherhood while simultaneously delivering career defining moments. From performing at major festivals to connecting with new audiences around the world, she’s proving that authenticity and hard work go hand-in-hand.

That moment both on and off the stage with Jelly Roll was the perfect way to round out what’s already been a standout year for Kaylee Bell and a reminder that she’s exactly where she deserves to be.
