KINGSWOOD Announce New Album ‘Midnight Mavericks’ And Drop New Single ‘Faith’

March 5, 2026 9:56 am in by

Australian heavy hitters KINGSWOOD are officially entering their new chapter.

The accolades are endless for the multi-platinum, Gold ARIA-certified, ARIA-nominated and four-time Golden Guitar-nominated band who have announced their new album Midnight Mavericks is landing globally on May 22.

If early signs are anything to go by, this is the most intentional, fully realised version of the band we’ve seen yet.

Born from a love of vintage rock, country soul and storytelling that sticks, Midnight Mavericks leans into grit over gloss. Think long highway stretches, neon-lit back rooms and the kind of self-reflection that only hits once the crowd’s gone home.

Produced by Alexander Laska, who also co-wrote every track, the album has already built serious momentum thanks to singles Lovin’ A Girl, Last First Kiss and Highway Signs, all of which have found homes across key country and rock radio networks and impacted the Countrytown Top 50 National Country airplay chart.

As the band describe the album, “Midnight Mavericks is an album written after the lights go out. You’re forced to reckon with who you are when no one’s watching. There’s grit here. There’s tenderness. It’s country and rock - worn in, not dressed up - built on melody, muscle, and stories, blending lived-in boots and hopeful dreamers.”

To mark the announcement, KINGSWOOD have also dropped their new single, Faith. Co-written with Tyler Halverson and Jon Decious (Lainey Wilson), the track taps into breezy west coast country energy, stacked harmonies and seriously catchy hooks.

As the band describes the track, “Faith paints a picture of a free-spirited woman who's the embodiment of resilience and joy. She's cosmic, navigating life with her mama's wisdom, and a healthy dose of pragmatism towards traditional norms. She's the anchor, the muse, and the centre of chaotic worlds. Throw in a touch of philosophy behind embracing the unknowns of love and living it on your own terms and you got Faith.”
