Kip Moore Announces New Album, ‘Reason To Believe’

March 18, 2026 11:26 am in by

Just over a year since his last record, Georgia musician Kip Moore is back for more, announcing the release of his new album, Reason To Believe.

His seventh record, Reason To Believe follows on Solitary Tracks, which arrived in February 2025 and was his first since splitting with MCA Nashville.

Set for release on May 9th, the album was co-produced by Moore alongside Andrew DeRoberts (Stephen Wilson Jr., Tate McRae, Zac Brown Band), and features guest vocals from Hillary Lindsey, who also co-wrote the track You & Me.

“I felt like I was describing more of who I am as a human," Moore says of the new record. "This album is my daily thoughts. In here,” he adds, while tapping his chest. “It’s an ‘in here’ kind of thing.”

Teased by anthemic, guitar-slinging single Levee, the record is one which sees Moore focusing on grief, faith, and the weight of time – with the album itself buoyed by a sense of loss, with Moore's first producer and songwriter Brett James passing during the album's recording.

It's title, Reason To Believe, comes from a song that Moore wrote years ago alongside longtime collaborator Dan Couch and Scott Stepakoff and had resonated deeply with James.

Australian fans won’t be left waiting too long to hear tracks from the album played live, with Moore having announced a series of intimate shows across Australian and New Zealand throughout October and November only this month.

Tickets to those shows are on sale now, while pre-orders and pre-saves for Reason To Believe are available now.
