Max Jackson is kicking off 2026 full throttle. The three-time Golden Guitar winner has spent the past couple years stacking milestones: hit singles, national TV appearances, major festival slots, sold-out headline shows and even a TikTok Music Artist of the Year nomination. Now she’s officially locked in her next chapter with the announcement of her new album Dangerous in Denim arriving February 13.
Jackson says the project is the most self-assured music she’s made yet. “Dangerous In Denim represents where I’m at right now; it's confident, high energy and dressed to take over the world,” she explains. “When you show up in the world confident and comfortable in who you are, you really are a force to be reckoned with.”
”Particularly as a female artist in the music industry, I have learned through the years that there is no other way to do this than to work harder, be braver and be stronger - and never give up on knowing that what you have to say is important. I hope this collection of music really inspires other people to be themselves & be brave & ‘dangerous’ in the pursuit of what lights them up too!” she adds.
Produced by Rod McCormack, the album brings together a strong lineup of co-writers across Nashville, Australia and New Zealand. Jackson co-wrote every track, collaborating with Buddy Owens (Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton), Kylie Sackley (Sam Hunt, Walker Hayes), Lauren McLamb and Kate Wilson (Max McNown, Dierks Bentley), Kaylee Bell, Nick Wolfe, George and Amy Sheppard, Gavin Carfoot, Phil Barton and Nolan Wynne.
Fans will recognise several songs already making waves on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Charts. One standout Little More Country not only hit #1 but also earned Jackson a Golden Guitar for Single of the Year, it sparked a viral TikTok series where Jackson put a countrified spin on popular songs racking up more than 30 million views. The new album also features the emotional ballad A Country Heart Can first heard during a national broadcast of A Farmer Wants A Wife, along with live favourites Hold My Horses and the nostalgic 1990 Somethin’.
