November 6, 2025 4:26 pm in by

Morgan Evans is raising a glass to where it all began. The now Nashville based, but Newcastle born artist has just released the official music video for his new single Beer Back Home, and if you’re thinking it looks a little familiar, it probably is!

Filmed on location across Sydney and Newcastle in New South Wales, the video offers fans an intimate glimpse into Evans’ recent trip back to Australia and the intimate pop up shows fans could only win their way into.

Directed by Peter John, the clip captures Evans’ journey from Nashville to his hometown. Filled with emotional reunions of family and friends to the pop up performance at The Ship Inn, his favourite local pub in his hometown of Newcastle. Between the singalongs and sweeping shots of the coastline, it’s a love letter to home and the people who shaped him.

Next month, Evans will bring that same homespun energy back to his new home the USA with another Beer Back Home pop-up show. But of course there has to be a little Aussie flair and that means it’s going to be a one off show at the new New York City establishment Old Mates Pub on December 3.

Beer Back Home marks Evans’ first single in over two years, following a reflective period spent back in Newcastle that reignited his creative spark. That chapter inspired his forthcoming sophomore album Steel Town due March 20, 2026.

Australian fans who didn’t score an invite to the pop up shows last month can catch Evans in 2026 leading the charge at Meatstock taking over Toowoomba and Gippsland in April. As well as Howlin’ Country Festival in his hometown Newcastle in February alongside US superstar Lainey Wilson.
