Australia’s rising country-pop trailblazer Sara Berki is back with a bang today, releasing her brand-new single Cowboys Do It Better - the next taste of her upcoming EP In The Neon, due to drop July 4.

Fresh off her debut national headline tour, Foolin Me Twice Tour, Berki isn’t slowing down for a second. Her latest track, teased live on tour, is a cheeky, irresistible ode to the cowboy charm.

“If you don’t have the pleasure of having a cowboy in your life,” Berki grins, “then this song will paint the picture for you. They can be a little cheeky and rough around the edges, but there’s a good heart on the inside!”

Cowboys Do It Better follows the success of Berki’s breakout love ballad Looks Like, which quickly became her fastest streaming track to date. And now, with In The Neon on the horizon, Berki is gearing up to deliver her most confident and vibrant era yet.

“The songs on In The Neon are my feel-good songs,” she says. “They are festival songs - the ones you love to sing along to.”

This five-track EP will feature singles Twice, Looks Like, and Cowboys Do It Better, alongside the title track In The Neon and the flirty anthem Do Me Too. All songs were co-written by Berki and producer Liam Quinn (Peach PRC), showing off her flair for both heartache and high energy, all with her signature sound at the centre.

“I want people to listen to my music and go, ‘that’s a Sara Berki song,’” she shares. “I’m proud I can write something that makes someone cry and then follow it up with something they can dance to.”

On top of a red-hot release schedule, Berki’s personal life is glowing too, she recently tied the knot with long time partner Patrick before jetting off on a US honeymoon. But the break’s short-lived, Berki is set to make her international debut at CMA Fest in Nashville this June, performing at the Sounds Australia Aussie BBQ on June 7 and taking the Spotlight Stage at Fan Fair X on June 8. She’ll also be staying in the States for a writing trip before returning home for more festival dates and headline shows.
