A brand new country music festival, Strummingbird has officially announced its debut tour dates slated for spring 2025, and it’s going to be bringing big energy to the Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, and Perth.
The fresh-faced festival is set to take off on Saturday 25 October in the Sunshine Coast, before heading to Newcastle on Saturday 1 November, and wrapping up in Perth on Sunday 2 November.
Presented by Kicks Entertainment and Live Nation, Strummingbird is shaping up to be a modern take on country music culture. And while the full lineup remains under wraps for now, we can tell you organisers have promised a top-shelf list of artists will be revealed on Thursday 31 July.
Beyond the music, fans can expect a full country music festival atmosphere, complete with line dancing, BBQ, bespoke merch, and a honky-tonk-inspired pop-up alley yes, including a mechanical bull.
Strummingbird is the latest brainchild from the team behind Spilt Milk, one of Australia’s most successful festivals, and looks set to tap into a growing appetite for country music down under.
Whether you're a die-hard fan or new to the genre, organisers promise a welcoming, high-energy experience.
Ticket presales kick off on Thursday 7 August, with general sale opening the next day on Friday 8 August. Fans are encouraged to sign up early to access presale info and lineup announcements.
