A brand new event to add to your stacked calendar for next year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival: Country at the Track has just dropped a massive line up for a night full of horsepower at the Golden Guitar Paceway on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Presented by Tamworth Harness Racing Club in partnership with Goldspur Entertainment and Countrytown, this high energy event combines live country music and harness racing in what promises to be a highlight of the 2026 festival.
The lineup is strong. Leading the charge is Rachael Fahim, fresh off announcing her national tour support for US superstar Jordan Davis and recently completed a mammoth run of shows all around Australia with Pete Murray, the former Toyota Star Maker winner is one of Australia’s most streamed female country artists. Fahim’s pop country anthems and powerhouse vocals have made her one of the most sought after acts in modern country.
Joining her is Nathan Lamont, the proud Wiradjuri singer songwriter making waves both at home and abroad after representing Australia at AmericanaFest in Nashville. With over 2 million streams and a devoted online following, Lamont’s sincerity has cemented him as one of the genre’s most exciting new names.
Also performing are breakout stars Briana Dinsdale, Mack Geiger, and Ethan Calway each bringing their own unique style to a lineup that perfectly blends fresh talent with festival ready energy.
Event curator Ashlyn Dinsdale from Goldspur Entertainment says the concept is all about shining a light on emerging artists at the festival.
“We wanted to create something that felt unique to Tamworth, a fresh vibe to the event where the racetrack meets the modern sounds of Australian country music. Every artist on this lineup is on the cusp of something big, and we’re proud to showcase them in a setting that’s fast-paced, authentic, and free for the community.”
Fans can expect an electric night of live music, harness racing, food, drinks, and family fun. Entry is free, but RSVP is essential, there is however premium Trackside Marquee tickets available for those wanting an upgraded race night experience, complete with prime views, gourmet eats, and close up access to the stage.
Whether you’re a country diehard or chasing a Friday night thrill, Country at the Track promises to be an unforgettable night and is the perfect way to cap off the 2026 Tamworth Country Music Festival.
