With just days to go until LeAnn Rimes kicks off the Australian leg of her 30th Anniversary World Tour, an exciting new name has been added to the bill is very own rising Aussie country star Taylor Moss.
The announcement comes after original support act The War and Treaty withdraw from the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, opening the door for Moss to make her arena tour debut alongside Rimes and The Voice 2024 winner, Reuben De Melo. For Moss, who’s steadily been building a reputation as one of the most dynamic voices in Australian country, this moment is nothing short of a career milestone.
The three-date run begins Thursday, September 11 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, followed by ICC Sydney Theatre on Saturday, September 13, and wraps up at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Tuesday, September 16.
For Moss, the opportunity to join a global icon like Rimes on stage is deeply personal.
“Women have raised me in life and in song,” Moss shared. “LeAnn is a female artist who has paved the way for me to want to do this as a career and inspired me since I was a little girl. To now be sharing a stage and opening for her on her arena tour around Australia feels like an absolute dream. I have two words: Pinch me!”
That excitement is backed by serious credentials. Moss’s independently released debut album Firecracker was a standout hit, earning three Golden Guitar nominations in 2025, including Best Female Artist and Album of the Year. She’s already landed three #1 hits on Australian Country Radio with fan favourites like Get It Girl, Country Proud, and The Women Who Raised Me, tracks that have helped her surpass 12 million streams and counting.
Her live show is equally impressive. From lighting up stages at CMC Rocks and Gympie Music Muster, to representing Australian country music at the CMA Fest in Nashville, Moss is fast becoming a global ambassador for the new generation of country talent.
Joining Moss on the opening lineup is De Melo, who rose to fame as part of Team LeAnn on The Voice Australia last year. Rimes has been a vocal supporter of De Melo’s talent, and his inclusion continues the all-Australian support focus for this tour.
As for LeAnn Rimes herself, she’s bringing a career-spanning setlist packed with country favourites, pop hits, and powerful new material. With over 48 million units sold worldwide, a Grammy win at just 14, and chart records that still stand, Rimes remains one of the most celebrated female artists in modern music history.
