Nashville is getting a little more Aussie this CMA Fest, with the launch of G’DAY: Australia to the World, a brand-new showcase spotlighting homegrown country talent right in the middle of Music City’s busiest week.
Taking over the Whiskey Bent Saloon on Broadway on Friday, 5 June 2026, the four hour event marks the inaugural edition of what’s set to become a new international platform for Australian country artists looking to connect with global audiences during one of the genre’s biggest festivals.
With thousands of fans, industry figures and media descending on Nashville for CMA Fest, G’DAY aims to carve out a dedicated space for Australian voices in the global country conversation.
The event is hosted by Australian singer-songwriter Brittany Elise, who is now based in Nashville and has helped spearhead the launch of the showcase.
“G’DAY was created to showcase the incredible depth of talent coming out of Australia and to celebrate the strong connection between the Australian and American country music communities,” said Elise.
“CMA Fest provides the perfect backdrop to introduce this new showcase and create opportunities for Australian artists to share their music on a global stage.”
The launch comes as Australian country music continues its steady international rise, with more artists touring overseas and increasingly catching the attention of global industry players.
G’DAY is positioning itself as both a celebration and a statement that Australian country is no longer just exporting talent, but actively shaping the global scene.
