Carrie Underwood will join Guns N’ Roses on their upcoming tour.

She wrote on social media, “SO ready for this!... I CANNOT WAIT!!”

Underwood will join the legendary rockers on three dates – Medavie Blue Cross Stadium in Moncton, New Brunswick on August 5, Parc Jean Drapeau in Montreal, Québec on August 8 and GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee on August 26.

While they might seem like an unlikely pairing, the two acts have shared the stage on several prior occasions. Underwood was a surprise guest during Guns N' Roses' London tour stop in July 2022, and she brought out Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose during her Stagecoach set that same year.

Rose also joined Underwood for a performance of the Guns N' Roses classic Welcome to the Jungle during a Los Angeles show on her Denim & Rhinestones tour in March 2023.

"I'm the luckiest girl in the world," Underwood shared on Instagram afterward. "Thanks, Axl, for showing up, once again, to make the great times even better!" "It'll forever feel like it was all a dream, but these dreams are my favourite ones!"

The Pretenders, Alice In Chains, The Warning and Dirty Honey will also join Guns N’ Roses on select dates on the North American leg of their 2023 global tour.

Additionally, the tour will touch down in the Middle East, Europe and North America and is set to kick off June 1 at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The first European date is June 9 in Madrid, Spain, with the first U.S. show taking place on August 11 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. For more information and tickets, head to gunsnroses.com.

Last June saw Underwood release her ninth studio album, Denim & Rhinestones. She chased that up with a live EP (recorded for the Apple Music Sessions series) the following month, with a new standalone single, Out Of That Truck, arriving back in March of this year. Just a few weeks later, she appeared on a stacked line-up of artists performing at A Night Of Joy, a benefit concert honouring the victims of a recent school shooting in Nashville.
