The already stacked line-up for 2024’s Over Yonder Country Festival has announced it’s newest recruit, placing Australian singer Casey Barnes on the bill.
Barnes, an established figure in Australian country music, will perform in support of his fifth studio album, ‘Mayday’. The album, which was fittingly released in May, has garnered attention with singles such as , ‘Ain’t No Better Buddy Than A Beer’, ‘Summer Nights’ and ‘Never Give Up On A Good Time’. Barnes has also launched a national tour to promote the album, which will continue until January 2025, culminating with a performance in Australia’s heart of country, Tamworth.
In addition to Barnes, the Over Yonder Country Music Festival will feature a diverse lineup including Tyler Hubbard, The Wolfe Brothers, Taylor Moss, Sara Berki, and Wade Forster. This selection of artists aims to provide a broad spectrum of country music for attendees, from pop, folk, and rock-tinged twang.
The festival promises to be a notable event in the country music calendar, and Barnes’ participation is expected to draw a crowd. “This one’s going to be a ripper so be sure to grab your tickets and we’ll see you very soon!!” Barnes said to socials.
