48 hours after tickets went on sale for the impressively stacked 2024 edition of CMC Rocks Queensland, tickets are selling fast, with only limited tickets still available.
It’s no surprise that the 2024 festival is selling so fast with next year’s massive line-up led by headliners Lainey Wilson, Chris Young and Tyler Hubbard. All camping and The Drove pre-sale tickets have sold out.

Single-day tickets are down to “low tickets” for the Sunday (17 March), while adult tickets are also down to low tickets. CMC Rocks has tickets available for youth (15-17 years) and junior (4-14 years) ticketholders. But anything remaining is now the “final batch”.
Some fans were concerned that next year’s festival would take a few days to sell out, rather than overnight, but with a cost of living crisis, buying tickets for a multi-day festival isn’t easy for everyone.
On Monday (9 October), CMC Rocks Fan Page member Paul asked, “…how many years has it been since you can still buy tickets this late in the evening?” In response to the question, Paul was reminded of the challenging economic situation many punters find themselves in, needing to balance other demands of the current cost of living crisis against purchasing concert tickets.
McDonald’s post mentioned, “fuel, travel, time off work without factors like food and interest rates alone are hitting home for many”. Another commenter wrote, “… [with] the economy atm everyone has to make sacrifices! This is a luxury for people to go to atm”. Another fan mentioned a period of being ill and unable to work and, therefore, couldn’t afford tickets.
Top contributor Jodi added, “The first couple of years at Willowbank, no problems getting tickets any time. Of course, it grows and grows. The numbers previous years we hit peak. From what I hear [here] weather-related issues are main put off, and current economic issues are slowing things down also”.
As well as the headliners, the 2024 edition of CMC Rocks is massive, starring viral sensation Oliver Anthony, Morgan Wade, and Jackson Dean, plus many locals, including Brad Cox, Casey Barnes, Taylor Moss, Melanie Dyer, Sara Berki, Josh Setterfield, Loren Ryan, Lane Pittman and Hayley Marsten.
Chugg Entertainment chairman Michael Chugg said about next year’s landmark event in a statement: “CMC Rocks QLD has always been about bringing the global country music community together. This year, with such a diverse and powerful lineup this year, we're set to deliver an experience that transcends boundaries and resonates with fans, old and new. Every year, CMC Rocks QLD surpasses expectations, and 2024 will be no exception.”
