CMC Rocks Queensland – one of the most beloved festivals on the Australian events calendar – returns in 2027 for its 20th anniversary, and today reveals the dates for next year’s festival.
The fun will begin on Wednesday, 17 March, and conclude on Sunday, 21 March. Like usual, campers will have exclusive access to the festival grounds on Wednesday, 17 and Thursday, 18 March, before the main festival opens and the live music begins on Friday, 19 March.
The festival returns to its long-running home of Willowbank Raceway in Ipswich as it celebrates a milestone anniversary.

Riley Green, Old Dominion, and Jordan Davis headlined this year’s edition of CMC Rocks.
In addition to strong performances by the headliners, this year’s event featured highlights such as Dasha performing Austin (Boots Stop Workin’) to thousands of fans, Tucker Wetmore and Jordan Davis covering Darius Rucker, Riley Green and Carly Pearce performing their collaboration, If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay, and Braxton Keith and Tyla Rodrigues sharing their heartfelt duet, Do I Ever Cross Your Mind.
In a statement, Festival Director and Chairman of Chugg Entertainment, Michael Chugg said of next year’s 20th anniversary event, “We couldn’t be more excited to kick off our 20th year celebrations in March. The legacy of CMC Rocks runs deep, as the festival continues to grow and blow even our minds.”
