After making his live debut in Australia at the start of the year, Dylan Gossett has announced his return to our shores for a headline tour in December.
His short trek of the east coast – dubbed the Back 40 tour – will begin on Wednesday December 4, when he’ll take to the stage at the Prince Bandroom in Melbourne (Naarm). He’ll head to Sydney (Eora) next, performing at the Metro Theatre on Friday December 6, before wrapping up the following Monday (December 9) with a show at the Princess Theatre in Brisbane (Meanjin).
Tickets for all three shows go on sale at 10am this Friday (June 21) following a series of presales: Gossett’s own sale will begin at 10am tomorrow (June 19), followed by a presale for Live Nation members starting at 11am on Thursday (June 11). Two hours later on the same day, too, there will be an exclusive presale for Gossett’s Spotify followers. Head here for more info on all four sales.
The Back 40 tour is named for an unreleased song that Gossett first performed live back in April, alongside another new cut titled Baptised By Rain. The Texan country star only just released his second EP, Songs In The Gravel, back in March via Big Loud and Mercury.
Gossett’s last trip to Australia saw him open for Noah Kahan on the latter’s We’ll All Be Here Forever tour.
