Dropping their lineup with shock drops on social media, Gympie Music Muster has revealed their first three artists, James Johnston, Brad Cox and Lee Kernaghan for 2024.
Just one week on from a weekend punters described as one of the greatest events in the Muster’s long history, the event is dropping artists one by one across their socials as tickets for next year’s event are now on sale.
Morgan Evans broke attendance records and Wolfmother were unexpectedly absent, but it was the vibe and cameraderie that most enjoyed at last weekend’s special event, with many describing it as a return to form after a bumpy few years of COVID and recovery.
No strangers to the Muster, James Johnston, Lee Kernaghan and Brad Cox are key appointments to the 2024 lineup that will impress long-time Musterers and sets the tone for yet another great year.
It is expected that further artists will be revealed across the coming week.
This year’s event hosted over 100 country, blues, folk and Americana acts, including Busby Marou, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Kasey Chambers, Travis Collins, Casey Barnes, Hoodoo Gurus, Melinda Schneider and The Screaming Jets on Thursday and Friday.
Saturday was led by Adam Brand, Gina Jeffreys, the one and only Morgan Evans, and Troy Cassar-Daley. Lastly, Sunday was propelled by Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley, Midland, Sara Stoner, and The Wolfe Brothers.
Elsewhere on the line-up, The Angels, Hayley Jensen, Ash Grunwald, Emily Wurramara, Catherine Britt, Sammy White, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Melody Moko, Southbound xo and many more featured.
