With the pre-sale for the 2024 edition of CMC Rocks beginning tomorrow, 26 September, at 9 am AEST, speculation for the artists appearing on the line-up is growing.
While the pre-sale opens before the line-up drops, it’s easy to think that festival organisers must be confident about their upcoming event. And if any of the artists name-dropped in the CMC Rocks Fan Page appear on the line-up, we’re in for an incredible festival.
Browsing the CMC Rocks Instagram Stories and international artists’ upcoming tour dates and looking for a CMC Rocks-sized gap of Friday, 15 to Sunday, 17 March 2024, Hardy and Lainey Wilson are the most popular picks amongst punters eagerly awaiting the festival line-up.
Other picks mentioned are Chris Stapleton, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, and Jon Pardi. Here’s hoping that CMC Rocks book at least one of these artists.
For the first 3,000 CMC Rocks pre-sale ticket buyers, a $20 discount will be applied. Moshtix and PayPal offer payment plans for punters needing to stretch out larger payments.
Following the pre-sale ticket allocation, the General Public on-sale will include Single Day, Full Festival and Camping tickets. Whereas, with the pre-sale, festivalgoers can only purchase Full Festival tickets – meaning they can attend the entire three-day event from 9 am on Friday, 15 March until Sunday, 17 March, at 11 pm.
According to the CMC Rocks website, the 2024 line-up is coming soon – stay tuned to the CMC social media channels for more information.
This year’s CMC Rocks was bookmarked by headliners Morgan Wallen, Grammy Award-winning Zac Brown Band – for their only Australian appearance – and festival favourite Kip Moore.
Jordan Davis, HARDY, Randy Houser, Bailey Zimmerman, Ashley McBryde, Mitchell Tenpenny and many more joined the start-studded crew.
In a review of CMC Rocks’ triumphant return in September 2022, Countrytown reviewer Stephen Green wrote, “CMC Rocks has returned from COVID seemingly stronger and more energised than ever before.
“The feeling on site was like no other festival. It was a place where you could sink a dozen Great Northerns (or bloody awful-looking frozen margaritas) and let your hair down, but where the feeling was of safety, community and a genuine spirit where everyone was there for the same thing, an unbridled love of music.”
CMC Rocks will be held at the Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich, from Friday, 15 March, until Sunday, 17 March. You can sign up for pre-sale tickets here.
