Every week, ABC Country's Grass Roots program shines a light on the best independently released Australian country content. Selected from the hundreds of new tracks submitted, the one-hour program is now available on demand as well as premiering each Monday at 9pm on ABC Country, showing the health of Aussie country music across all its sub-genres. Here are four of this week's tracks you should have on your radar.

Homegrown Trio – Heartbreaker

Aussie siblings Katelyn, Liam and Kasey O'Donoughue are the voices behind the sweet tones and captivating harmonies of the group Homegrown Trio. The trio found a fan in Joe Jonas following their stint on The Voice Australia in 2018. Jonas took them to Nashville where they opened for the Jonas Brothers, Kelsea Ballerini and Jordan McGraw on the Remember This tour.

They have since inked a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Nashville and have been working with some of the hottest producers in Nashville. Homegrown Trio will join Beccy Cole on Saturday Night Country this week for a chat about Heartbreaker.

Jimbo Stokes – Got Me Good

Recently signing to ABC Music, Jimbo Stokes’ new track Got Me Good sees the artist pushing into new production avenues, teaming up with legendary Sydney rap producer Colcci (Hooligan Hefs) and rising star Jacky McCormack.

Bronson Diamond & Greta Stanley – Stay In Your Lane

Bronson Diamond, a self proclaimed “country music lover” hailing from Far North Queensland, has been blowing up big time thanks to Stay In Your Lane featuring fellow indie artist Greta Stanley. The song started buzzing on TikTok and has recently hit #1 on the US viral Spotify chart. The track is closing in on seven million streams on the platform!
