Kip Moore has announced an epic run of Australian tour dates for 2024 – following his teaser at CMC Rocks last weekend – with seven headline shows flanking his appearance at Savannah In The Round.

Savannah In The Round is poised to be especially special, with Moore building a devoted fanbase in Queensland; he first performed there for CMC Rocks in 2016, returning in 2017 and 2023, and performing an ultra-special show at the Waltzing Matilda Centre in Winton in 2018. “I look forward to showing him the beauty of the Tropical North,” festival director James Dein said in a press release, “yet another side of this gorgeous state of ours.”
Prior to his appearance at Savannah In The Round – which will run over the weekend of October 11-13 at the Mareeba Rodeo Arena in the Cairns Hinterland – Moore will start his run of headline shows in Sydney, performing at the International Convention Centre (ICC) on Saturday September 28. He’ll then head north for a show at the Newcastle Civic Theatre the following day (September 29), before trekking off to Adelaide to play the Hindley Street Music Hall on Wednesday October 2.
From there, Moore will perform at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Thursday October 3, the Canberra Theatre on Tuesday October 8, and Anita’s Theatre in Thirroul on Thursday October 10. And lastly, he’ll wrap things up at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Sunday October 13.
Tickets for the whole tour go on sale at 4pm local time next Wednesday (March 27), following a presale that kicks off at the same time next Monday (March 25) – head here for more info.
Opening for Moore in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane will be fast-rising local star James Johnston, who recently made waves with the release of his debut album, RAISED LIKE THAT, in September of 2023. Sons Of The East will also appear in Sydney and Melbourne, and serve as Moore’s lead support for the shows in Newcastle, Adelaide and Canberra.
The tour comes in support of Moore’s fifth studio album, Damn Love, which hit shelves last April via MCA Nashville. Earlier this week, he announced that his upcoming sixth album will be released completely independently.
