Kip Moore loves Australia, returning to our shores in October and November. And today, he’s announced some homegrown special guests to make the occasion even sweeter.
Local heroes Kingswood will open Moore’s upcoming shows. The band, known for a smooth yet intense heartland rock sound that blends with Americana, are promoting their new album, Midnight Mavericks.
Released this year, the country-rock album is focused on storytelling and delivers with confidence. The cohesive LP is built for big stages and long drives—perfect for the band’s devoted fans.
Kingswood are one of the most in-demand bands in Australia, having performed at diverse festivals such as CMA Fest, Splendour In The Grass, and Falls Festival and shared the stage with Counting Crows and now, Kip Moore.
Visiting Australia for the sixth time, Moore – a multi-Platinum singer-songwriter – is set to perform intimate shows at some of Australia’s most loved theatre venues across the East Coast, playing on Friday and Saturday nights.
On the tour, Moore will bring his newly released album, Reason To Believe, to Australian shores for the first time. The singer’s latest collection contains tracks that examine grief, faith, and passing time, with upbeat rock tunes, vulnerable tracks, and anthemic guitar shining on Levee.
The shows are taking place at Melbourne’s Forum, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre in Australia, as well as the Christchurch Town Hall and Auckland Town Hall in New Zealand. Tickets are available here.
