On Thursday (1 August), fans at Morgan Wallen’s show at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City received a special surprise. After Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson performed sets earlier that night, the latter artist joined Wallen on stage for a special rendition of Lies, Lies, Lies.

Introducing her to the stage, Wallen said about Wilson, “She is a true badass and we've all believed that from day one, and it's so nice to see the way that she has just blown up. I couldn't be happier for someone. Y'all make some noise for Lainey Wilson.”

Wilson sang backing vocals for Wallen and harmonised with him during the chorus. Keeping it acoustic, Wallen showcased just how gorgeous his latest single is, and the pair emphasized just how strong country music is in 2024.

Wallen and Wilson toured together in 2019 and have remained close ever since. You can watch the performance below.

Morgan Wallen officially dropped Lies, Lies, Lies on the 4th of July after premiering the song with ERNEST and HARDY back in February.

Lies, Lies, Lies is a melancholy song written by Jessie Jo Dillon, Josh Miller, Daniel Ross, and Chris Tompkins. It was produced by Joey Moi and recorded by Wallen at London’s Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios in December.

Wallen recently opened his new bar, This Bar & Nashville Kitchen – which didn’t open without some problems, and in May, went to #1 thanks to his collaboration with Post MaloneI Had Some Help.

In other recent Morgan Wallen news, the country star recently deactivated his Instagram - what’s coming next?
