As Tennessee native Larry Fleet readies himself for a return to Australia this August, his upcoming visit has just gotten even bigger with the addition of a special guest.
Visiting Australia off the back of his Another Year Older album, Fleet will be joined by local country icon Troy Cassar-Daley for his three headline dates on our shores. The result is two of the world’s greatest country storytellers joining forces in a very special way.
"I'm really looking forward to joining Larry on this Australian tour,” Cassar-Daley said in a statement. “It was wonderful to be invited to be part of these shows and have the time to say yes. I've always admired Larry's authentic style and the way his songs connect with people.
“I actually discovered Larry through one of my cousins at a family get-together. He put on one of Larry's songs and said, 'Have you heard this bloke singing?' I hadn't, but I was an instant fan. The song was That's Where I Find God, and I can't wait to hear it live. I'm excited to share some music with Larry's audience and be part of what I'm sure will be a very special run of shows."
Fleet first announced his 2026 dates back in April, with his three headline shows taking place alongside an appearance at the Gympie Music Muster on August 27th. It’s his second visit to the country, having debuted on local shores in March 2025 playing headline dates in Sydney and Melbourne alongside a spot on the CMC Rocks Queensland line-up.
“On my first trip to Australia last year, I honestly didn’t know what to expect or how everyone would react to my music, but before I was even off the stage I was already planning on coming back as soon as I could,” Fleet explained.
“The Australian people made me feel at home with how engaged and a part of the show they were. Singing every lyric, it’s almost like they did their homework to not only make sure that they had a good time, but that we did as well. And if there’s one thing I learned it’s that Australian’s know how to have a damn good time.”
