Morgan Wallen made a fan’s dream come true at a recent gig at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford when he drew her first tattoo.
A fan named Gia Alonso brought a sign to his concert that read, “Morgan, can you draw my first tattoo?” with a blank box for Wallen to sign. At the barrier, a security guard handed her sign to Wallen after the show.
Handing the sign back to Alonso, she shed happy tears before getting Wallen’s sweet message tattooed on her arm. Wallen ended up writing, “Love ya. So does God. MW.”
Sharing what Wallen wrote for her and a picture of the tattoo, Alonso wrote in the caption on TikTok: “Morgan Wallen drew my first tattoo! This is a dream come true. Thank you to all the sweet souls we met who helped make this possible. I love you, Morgan.”
Alonso’s video has gathered over 10.6 million views and over 4,000 comments in just two days. You can watch the video below.
Earlier this month, Wallen partnered with singer and rapper Post Malone to release the collaborative single, I Had Some Help.
Upon its release, I Had Some Help debuted at #1 in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Norway, and the US (#1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the US Hot Country Songs chart). It also reached the top five in Denmark, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, and the UK.
The pop-country tune works perfectly for Wallen, who joins in the second verse and makes I Had Some Help sound like one of his songs.
Post Malone teased the duet with Wallen for weeks on Instagram, sharing images of the pair arm-in-arm and performing together on stage. He first shared a teaser of the chorus last month (26 April), writing in the caption: “They say teamwork makes the dream work”.
On Memorial Day weekend (25-27 May), Morgan Wallen will open his new venture, This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen.
The Tennessee Kitchen will become a local staple, serving everything from Nashville hot chicken dip to taco-stacked waffles to Wallen’s vodka spaghetti. This Bar, a nod to Wallen’s hit song of the same name, pays homage to “all things Tennessee”. Cocktails, whiskey, beer, wine, and more will be offered.
Last year, the Nashville Business Journal reported that the Last Night singer teamed up with TC Restaurant Group and purchased a parking lot at 107 Fourth Ave in Nashville for $10 million in 2022 to open a live music venue and bar.
The $10 million parking lot has become a six-storey building for live music and having a good time, a gift shop, and a rooftop entertainment area. Wallen’s space is situated behind Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row.
