Post Malone might as well label himself a country star now. After collaborating with Morgan Wallen on the hit single, I Had Some Help, he’s now premiered a new song with Blake Shelton.

Last month, the rapper and singer shared a snippet of a new unreleased song featuring Shelton.

Shelton responded to Post Malone’s video on social media with an emoji of the suspicious eyes looking sideways. On X (formerly known as Twitter), Shelton uploaded a video of himself watching Post Malone’s teaser and dancing along to it.

Replying to Post Malone’s teaser, Shelton’s wife and musician Gwen Stefani wrote, “Can’t handle this much cool and cute!! Super fan alert !”

Now, the pair have officially performed it live, with Post Malone putting on a surprise set at CMA Fest on Thursday (6 June).

Somebody pour me a drink, somebody bum me a smoke,” the pair sing in their new partying anthem, continuing: “I'm 'bout to get on a buzz/ I'm 'bout to get on a roll/ I've been breaking my back, just keepin' up with the Joneses/ Y'all know what I mean, y'all know how it goes.

You can watch video footage of the performance – filmed and shared by Countrytown – below.

As People reports, Malone and Shelton kept the surprises going at Shelton's Broadway bar, Ole Red.

Malone performed a six-song set, including Sunflower and I Had Some Help, Somebody Pour Me A Drink with Shelton, and then some covers: Carrying Your Love With Me by George Strait and One More Last Chance by Vince Gill, before reuniting with Shelton for his song Ol’ Red.

Post Malone recently performed at Stagecoach festival and brought out special guests Brad Paisley, Dwight Yoakam, and Sara Evans for a set of country covers, which included Whitehouse Road, Check Yes Or No, Be My Baby Tonight, Don’t Take The Girl, Who’s Your Daddy?, and Three Wooden Crosses.

In November, Post Malone confirmed that he was preparing to release a country album.
