Nashville-based, Australian country/Americana singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Sinead Burgess will be joining flame-haired, tattooed powerhouse, Kezia Gill on her UK Misfit tour.
“I am so thrilled to be returning to the UK as a special guest with such a powerhouse woman and artist!” Burgess said in a press release. “I first heard of Kezia through Crissie from The Shires who raved about her, and when I heard her music, I fell in love with her smoky voice. I can’t wait to hit the road. I know we will have a blast!!”
Gill added, “To say I’m excited to be taking my new music out on tour is an understatement! I’ve been sitting on these new songs for so long and I can’t wait to unleash them on the world. We’re hitting bigger venues, bringing a whole new show, and I’ll be giving my absolute all to every single stage.”
The upcoming tour was announced live on air by Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2. Starting in Leeds on Friday 13 October, the tour then heads to Glasgow on Saturday 14 October, Manchester on Sunday 15 October, London on Monday 16 October, Norwich on Wednesday 18 October, Bristol on Thursday 19 October, Birmingham on Friday 20 October and Nottingham on Saturday October 21.
With a back catalogue that bends genre lines, Gill has loyal fans who enjoy country, blues, americana, and rock music. The tour is in support of her forthcoming album Misfit, which features the singles Like I Did Before, Whiskey Over Ice, House On The Hill and her iTunes Country Chart #1, Smokey.

Fearlessly merging genres like country, Americana, and singer-songwriter styles, Burgess creates a captivating fusion that embodies the energetic spirit of rock, reminiscent of artists like Brandi Carlile and Sheryl Crow, coupled with the guttural, heart-wrenching tones of Foy Vance and Lewis Capaldi.
No stranger to the UK, she toured with The Shires during their Accidentally On Purpose tour and legendary artist Paul Young on his No Parlez tour the following year, with 2023 marking her eagerly awaited first return across the pond since the pandemic.
Burgess began her singing career in 2007 with her five track EP, You Get Me. Her EP Wolf (2016) and debut album, Damaged Goods (2018) followed.
