Australian country artist Tyla Rodrigues is having a serious breakout moment, officially signing with Vincent Torrez Management while also releasing her new single Honky Tonk Healing today.

The announcement marks another major step forward for the 22 year old singer-songwriter, who has quietly become one of the fastest rising names in Australian country music over the past year.

Between streaming success, major festival appearances and international touring opportunities, Rodrigues’ momentum has been impossible to ignore; and now, with a management team focused on long-term artist development behind her, things are only getting bigger.

“What a true gem, Tyla is…as a person and professional,” shared Emily Vincent, Co-Founder of VTM.

“She represents everything we believe in as a management company - undeniable raw talent, creative authenticity and an artistry that speaks for itself. What separates her is not just her voice or her songwriting, but the honesty and depth she brings to her music. She’s the kind of artist you build with for the long term, and we’re beyond excited to help shape that journey.”

Rodrigues said joining the company immediately felt like the right fit.

“I knew from the moment that I met Alex [Torrez] and Emily that they would be incredible people to grow with, they understand the vision and encourage my individuality as an artist. Their passion for long term development whilst upholding the ‘artist-first’ mentality is what makes me so incredibly excited to be part of the Vincent Torrez Management group,” she said.

“I am over the moon to be stepping into this next chapter of my career with them.”

The management announcement arrives alongside the release of Honky Tonk Healing, a classic-country inspired anthem built around the idea that music, neon lights and a good bar can temporarily fix just about anything.

Produced by Jared Adlam and co-written alongside James Johnston and US songwriter Jacob Durrett, the single follows Rodrigues’ breakout track Can’t Keep Doing This, which reached #9 on the Australian National Airplay chart within three weeks and has now surpassed one million streams.

As Rodrigues describes the new track:

“Honky Tonk Healing is for anyone who’s ever walked into a bar carrying the weight of the world and walked out feeling that little bit lighter. It’s a love letter to neon lights, steel guitars, and the kind of country music that can fix anything!"

The new single continues a huge run for Rodrigues internationally. Earlier this year she appeared at CMC Rocks QLD, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Holler Country Festival and made her C2C Festival debut across both London and Berlin.

She is also preparing for her appearance at CMA Fest next week, before heading to Lasso Festival later this year.

Rodrigues has also continued building a global streaming audience, earlier this year, she teamed up with Braxton Keith for an Amazon Music Original version of Do I Ever Cross Your Mind, which has already earned more than seven million streams ahead of its wider release on June 19.

With a debut full-length album now expected in early 2027, Rodrigues is quickly moving from emerging artist territory into something much bigger.
