Will Day Calling Fans For New Music Video

July 18, 2023 1:06 am in by

Will Day is seeking help for his next week music video.

“My brand new single is called Set Your Sights and in a couple of weeks I’m making a music video for it,” Day says in a video posted on social media. “Do you want to be a part of it? Because I need your help. There’s just a couple of simple steps that you need to do.”

He continued, “Think of the biggest, craziest, most wild dream that you want to set your sights on – it could be flying to the moon, learning how to play guitar, paying off that mortgage, getting that dream job, whatever it may be. There’s nothing too crazy, silly, stupid or out of this world.”

To be part of the music video, fans need to write their goal on an A4 piece of paper and hold it up to the camera in a reasonably well-lit location for at least three seconds. Additionally, fans will need to shoot in landscape format and in 4K (HD is also accepted).

The soaring country rock track is full of power, fire and inspiration. Sometimes through the turmoil and tribulations in life, we just need a reminder that you need to keep your eye on the prize, the bigger picture – and this song is just that.

Day said, “Being an independent artist and ‘chasing the dream’ since I was 14, this song means a lot to me as no matter what you do on your journey, there’s always a reason to look past all the disappointment and turmoil and focus on your major goals, whatever they may be.”

Growing up in the small rural town of Goondiwindi, Day grew up listening to some of the great musical influences of our time on family road trips where his parents would play the likes of James TaylorThe EaglesPaul Kelly and Cat Stevens. His first public performance was in a local talent quest at 14 years old. Later discovering artists like Keith UrbanAlan Jackson and Garth Brooks led to Day releasing his five-track, self-titled debut EP in 2016.

With his album Countrified under his belt and constant performances engaging new audiences, Day has enjoyed getting back to the grass roots of touring and performing across the country at events, festivals, and headlining shows.

He has just announced an extensive tour which includes performances at Gympie Music Muster and Texas (QLD) Country Music Festival.
