Leylah Harvey, the daughter of Australian country music legend Adam Harvey, is embarking on a solo music career herself in stunning fashion.
Covering You Raise Me Up in the style of the most renowned rendition, Josh Groban’s, Leylah Harvey displays a phenomenal talent for classical singing.
It’s unexpected for anyone who thought Leylah would follow in her father’s footsteps, but now that we’ve seen her true musical passion, we can’t wait to see where she goes next. You can watch the music video below.
“I am so excited to share that I have just posted the full music video of my cover of ‘You Raise Me Up,’ to YouTube,” Harvey wrote on Facebook last week.
“I would be honored [sic] if you would like to watch and maybe even share.”
She continued, “Thank you always for your support on my wonderful journey! I feel so grateful to be able to do what I love and share it with you all.
“Thank you so much Duncan Toombs for the wonderful video.”
Since the cover was shared on Facebook on 2 August, Leylah Harvey’s video has received more than 2,300 views. After getting past one thousand views, the singer wrote on Facebook, “Oh my goodness! Over 1,000 views already!
“Thank you all so much for the love and support on my first music video.
“I’ll be posting more to my YouTube channel, so stay tuned for many more exciting things coming soon!”
